South African Students Won Prizes in "Zheng He - China Facts Quiz"

From September to November, 2005, South African students took an active part in "Zheng He - China Facts Quiz", which was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China on the website of www.chinaculture.org. 58 South African students won the prizes, among which are 2 First Prize Winners, 9 Second Prize Winners and 47 Third Prize Winners.

In commemoration of the 600th anniversary of Zheng He's Great Voyages (1405-1433), the Chinaculture website held the "Zheng He - China Facts Quiz". The awards are MP3 to the First Prize Winners, Mouse and its pad to the Second Prize Winners and T-shirts to the Third Prize Winners. The names of the prize winners are listed as following:

As soon as the awards are sent to the Cultural Section of the Chinese Embassy by post, the notice of taking the awards from the Section will be informed to the above-mentioned students.

"Chinese Spring Festival – China Facts Quiz" which will be held soon on the website of www.chinaculture.org is the theme of the second part of the activity entitled "CHINA INTO CLASSROOM". Students in South Africa are cordially welcome to participate in the quiz on the website.
