On the August 1^st 2006,Senior Colonel Zhou Yi, Military Attaché of the Chinese Embassy, held a Reception to celebrate the 79^th Anniversary of the Founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in Pretoria, the capital of the Republic of South Africa. Lt Gen Rensburg, Chief of Corporate Staff, the Acting Chief of the Navy, Rear Admiral Magalefa, Major General Mofokeng, Chief of Foreign Defense Relations of the South Africa National Defence Force, the Military Attachés and Deputy Military Attachés of foreign countries accredited to South Africa, Ambassador Liu Guijin, Minister Councilor Zhou Yuxiao, Councilor Han Pingping and the members of the Chinese Embassy attended the reception. The reception was held in a warm and friendly atmosphene in Pretoria.
