Li Keqiang Leaves Beijing for Visits to Ethiopia, the African Union Headquarters, Nigeria, Angola and Kenya

In the morning of May 4, 2014, at the invitation of Hailemariam Dessalegn, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, Rotating President of the African Union and President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Goodluck Jonathan, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, José Eduardo dos Santos, President of the Republic of Angola and Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the Republic of Kenya, Premier Li Keqiang left Beijing by special plane to pay official visits to Ethiopia, the African Union headquarters, Nigeria, Angola and Kenya. Besides, at the invitation of Klaus Schwab, Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, Li Keqiang will attend the Plenary Session of the 24th World Economic Forum on Africa in Abuja, capital of Nigeria.

Premier Li Keqiang’s wife Mme. Cheng Hong left Beijing by the same plane.
